Start of Life Skill Program at Our Rights (OR) Head quarters

OR has made a lot of strides in  2012, the new Life Skills centre has now been completed and operational since April 2012. A total of 70 students are registered in the centre undergoing various life skill training, in home economics, tailoring and hair dressing.

The OR held two events in April and May, an Open Day for the Computer Centre and Digital Studio and a National Youth Day organised by the OR. All these activities where geared towards visibility of the OR programs and fund raising drives.

 

Updates Programs Our Rights (OR).

The Our Rights (OR) has initiated the construction of a skilled Centre, the Centre will

 house hair dressing and catering classes and was commissioned in March 2012

UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT

The process of starting this in place for campuses to be in Port Harcourt, Owerri,

Lagos, and Abuja. The Port Harcourt campus has been renovated and will provide

 the first set of Empowerment training and other related social work program.

With only 4 years remaining before the MDG framework comes to an end in 2015, it is clear that decisive and concerted actions need to be taken to ensure that MDG targets are met. Many countries are making progress, reducing maternal mortality and increasing coverage of effective health
